 DELIVERY (Terms and Conditions)

4.1 We will deliver goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 3-5 days of your order.

4.2 If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing, at our contact address, of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

4.3 If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 3-5 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 days of our maximum delivery period of 3-5 from the date on which you ordered the goods.

Our goods are dispatched recorded delivery. We can not be held responsible if goods held at customer’s local post office and customer fails to collect them. 



We normally ship your goods within 2 working days time of receiving your order using either Royal Mail Standard Parcel service or another large national courier. 

Please note this is excludes the personalised items. For personalised items the delivery time is 10 -14 working days.  

 We would expect, in most cases, for you to receive your goods (non personalised items) within 3 – 5 working days of placing your order.

Products ordered from The Wooden Toy Gallery can also be delivered to an alternative address to your billing address, for example as a gift for someone else or to allow you to take delivery at your work address.

Most deliveries will require a signature, therefore please ensure that there will be someone available to sign for the parcel.

Please note that orders placed after 2pm on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday.


Wooden Toy gallery makes every effort to send our products to you in the safest, most timely, and least expensive method available. 
We ship to the address provided by customer placing the order. 
We can not be held responsible for any shipping delays once a package has been shipped.

This may be due to an incorrect address or postal issues beyond our control. 

Please Note: Deliveries are made on our behalf by a third party carrier and whilst we make every effort to ensure that deliveries are made on a specified day, we cannot guarantee deliveries and will not enter into claims for compensation should a delivery failure occur. 

Please confirm that your address correct before purchasing. Buyers are responsible any shipping costs of returned and resent packages that are due to the incorrect address.
If you would like insurance let us know and we can add the appropriate charges to your order.


What happens if my order gets lost?


We will track your package promptly with the shipping service broker and try to locate the package as quickly as possible. Losses are rare, but they do sometimes happen. We resolved shipping problems as quickly as we can by promptly following up on the shipment tracking.

If your item is not delivered, please allow up to 10 WORKING days after your parcel was despatched  to you before you consider it lost. 

We will file a claim on your behalf with the Post Office. Once your package has been declared "unrecoverable", we will either send you another order or a refund for your purchase. However, you will be held liable for the lost package if it is determined that you have provided us with an incorrect mailing address.  



Orders under £15.50 - postage & packing: £2.90

Orders over £15.50 - UK mainland postage & packing: £4.90

Orders over 2kg (max 30kg) - postage & packing: £7.00

Parcel delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Scottish Highlands & Islands (Scottish Highland postcodes include: IV1-IV28, PH19-PH44, PA20-PA29, KA27-KA28):

Please note that orders to these destinations may incur a surcharge of £4.00, dependent on weight.

Shipping prices will be automatically calculated during the checkout process steps and you will see the shipping price before confirming the order.


What if I missed delivery?

The Wooden Toy Gallery deliveries are made on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 6.00pm. We realise that occasionally we may try to deliver an order and you (or the intended recipient) may not be available. Each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have attempted delivery. This card contains a contact number so you can speak directly to the couriers and agree a mutually convenient delivery time or alternatively, to arrange for you to collect the order directly from their depot.


I missed my order and it has been returned to you?

Unfortunately, a reshipping charge will be applicable before we dispatch the item for a second time.
